Thought I’d share some photograffy from the good o’le Texas. I got caught up with all this design stuff that I forgot the roots of the blog. Anyhow, here are some from some spots around town. More to come soon! Here I back with more urban Texas photograffy.

More to come soon! Here is a little yard fun! The workers in that locomotive where pretty koo. I thought they harass me, but they where pretty friendly and dropped a little yard knowledge.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

abandoned railroad yards and more…
Being the Fr8 addict that I am, I found this post to be a real kool find while browsing through weburbanist’s site. I always had an interest in industrial and railroad parts of the city. Finding an abandoned railroad yard would be a dream for me. You tend to find some pretty amazing stuff while walking yards and you can snap some very sweet photography. Not to mention the history that you find while walking through a yard. Now if I could find an abandoned circus scrap yard, that would be the shit!

weekend fr8 train benching!!!
Got a chance to walk down to the yards on this cold ass morning and catch a couple of nice trains. Not as many as I wanted due to pesky yard workers running me off. Caught my homie Hero, Sleep, Vital, Size21 e2e, Stale, Quiter, Gasp, Dekr, Sigh, etc… Check them out!!!

Kicking off my Freight Train Monikers collection!!!
While I am out benching and not flicking pieces on the fr8s, I find myself looking for box cars that have no pieces looking for “hobo tags,” “streaks,” “oil bars,” “worker tags,” “freight monikers,” “chalk graffiti,” “boxcar art” of infamous monikers we hear about through stories, net, and other writers. If you are a fr8 addict, then you should know about these guys who where the original fr8 kings leaving tags since back in the days of war world era. Early writers have got into the art form of streaking. In my eyes it is an art form as these guys are expressing themselves with their own unique tag.
I find JD King Esquire’s story very interesting as a rich man by day who loved to get filthy and ride the rails on the weekend to get a view of America you cannot see on the roads.
There is many more to come, so check back!!!

Vigilantes: Closer to Graffiti Artists Than You Think
I was sent this article from a homie and it is a great article on douche bags like X-Man and get a job who purposely took matters into their own hands and decided to going on a SPIT spree and go over any writers pieces they came in to sight with on the rails and walls.
“I actually don\’t mind getting my pieces written on by “Get a Job” or “Get a Life”. It shows me that what I did affected someone. You have a worker that hates seeing graffiti so much that he will consciously get a can of spray paint and write graffiti. Not only does he break the law and chance getting arrested, but he performs the actual crime he is taking a stand against,” states LEAD.*

Bansky does it again!!!
Bansky is one of my personal inspirations in the shit I do. He has some amazing shit out there, but this one has to be one of my favorites. Talk about Thomas The Freight got caught SLEEPING!!!
