Chinese Dwarfs tired of being discriminated!!!

A community of dwarfs in China is tired of being discriminated against and is doing something about it.

The Telegraph reports that the people of Kunming, a mountain community in southern China, have set up their own village to escape discrimination from normal sized people.

All of the 120 residents are under 4-feet, 3-inches tall, and they run their own police force and fire department. The group also has turned itself into a tourist attraction by building mushroom houses and living and dressing like fairy tale

Every once in a while you will come across a page that just doesn’t seem ‘right’. There are three elements of a website that can be harmed by bad practice:

  • The website lacks something in its design.
  • The content is written badly.
  • The search engines don’t like something about the site.

Considering the three points above, this article will explains the do’s and dont’s of certain design habits.

FBI moves in on a man planning to bomb a Dallas building!!!

DALLAS – Dallas FBI agents arrested a Jordanian citizen Thursday afternoon for attempting to bomb a skyscraper in Downtown Dallas.

According to the bureau, 19-year-old Mosam Maher Husein Smadi was arrested and charged for attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction.

Smadi had been under continuous FBI surveillance and was arrested after he allegedly placed and tried to detonate an inactive car bomb near Fountain Place, a 60-story glass office tower located at 1445 Ross Avenue, the FBI said.

Recovery Act funds to rid the L.A. River Basin of its graffiti

Whether simple letters or elaborate, colorful designs, tagging–or graffiti–is considered vandalism and is getting a cover-up along some 100 miles of rivers, creeks, washes and channels of the Los Angeles County Drainage Area and Santa Ana River Basin.

Deep Ellum Art Walk Saturday Sept 19th

The 7th Annual DEEP Artwalk is Saturday, Sept. 19 from 6-11 p.m. in Deep Ellum and Exposition Park.
Each spring and fall the Deep Ellum Enrichment Project (DEEP) sponsors this vibrant event to introduce the community to the vast array of talent and creativity in Deep Ellum.

Over 10 galleries are participating and will open their doors to the public for art viewing, shopping, live music, food and drink. The event is free and most people can easily walk from gallery to gallery. The DART Green Line is available to take patrons from the Deep Ellum station to Fair Park. The galleries feature paintings, photography, sculpture, pottery and performance art in styles ranging from classic to modern.

Dickies “Working In Los Angeles” dope lifestyle book!

For as long as I can remember, Dickies clothing has been a part of my culture, friends, and life. Just recently I had the opportunity to work on a project for a new line of Dickies headwear hats coming out soon. I was given numerous resources, but the one that stood out was the book put out by Dickies named “Working In Los Angeles” Has some pretty dope lifestyle shots. It includes peeps from LA including some graff heads. These pictures will in no way be used in my project, but are worth showing what a dope book it is.ENJOY!!!

As a young boy, Chris Clune marveled at the craftsmanship of his father’s model railroad – the Cascade County Narrow Gauge as modeled in ON3 scale. Apparently talent ran deep and early in the Clune family – because by age 9, Chris had completely immersed himself in the world of scratch-building model trains.
