F6 Gallery Show this weekend!!!
Since its doors opened almost two years ago, F6 has been the hottest art gallery in the Metroplex and was voted the Best Gallery 2008 by Fort Worth Weekly. Hundreds of local and out-of-state artists roll through, bringing style and culture that embodies today’s youth. Graffiti heavily decorates the walls, and original art made from doors, skateboards, and air conditioning units make F6 the place to be.
Each month, the F6 Gallery throws one huge art show, which is more like a festival, featuring artists from Arlington to New York.

Charges dropped against 2 ex-cops accused of beating graffiti vandal
Ex-cops get away from beating a graffiti vandal in Philadelphia. Read below for story I came accross in the philly.com website.
A Common Pleas judge – like another judge before him – dismissed all charges yesterday against two former Philadelphia police officers accused of punching and kicking a graffiti vandal in Feltonville two years ago.
After an 80-minute hearing involving two new witnesses, plenty of objections by high-profile defense attorneys, and impassioned arguments, Judge Frank Palumbo ended the case by announcing: “Discharged.”
The two ex-cops, Sheldon Fitzgerald and Howard Hill III, both 30, then left the courtroom and were congratulated by their former colleagues. The two declined comment.

Former Hooters girl Melody Morales sues Hawaiian Tropic Zone for discrimination
Found this funny, but yet fucked up post while surfing throughNY Daily News site.
A former Hooters girl who says she’s got the right assets – but the wrong accent – is suing the Hawaiian Tropic Zone for crushing her dream of working as one of its bikini-clad beauties.
Melody Morales said she was rejected for a job by a manager at the Times Square restaurant who griped, “You don’t speak white” and “you are ghetto.”

Apparently NYPD are on their game and busting more and more graffheads!!!
The writing’s on the wall: Graffiti arrests jumped in 2008.
Cops made 10% more busts for tagging and other graffiti crimes last year than in 2007 – a jump to 4,120 arrests from 3,743.
Arrests increased even though New Yorkers made 9% fewer calls to 311 and 911 to report graffiti, cops said.
